Ashu Pine is a Tokyo-based artist well-known to create some of the most unusual and contemporary works. She continues to make and show artworks all around the world. Her artworks brilliantly depict “darkness” from previous experiences. She also does nude paintings, and each of her works has been praised for being the most astounding type of beauty. She mostly paints abstract creations, such as by incorporating gold and platinum foil with oil colors, and she also creates several made-to-order pieces.
From an early age, Ashu had a connection to art, and with the support of her parents, she began her journey as an artist. From an early age, she won several competitions, which too, added a feeling of purpose and drive for her to continue painting. While she was still unknown and undiscovered, her art piece sold for a very high price at a ‘new artists’ auction in Barcelona, Spain, at the age of 24. This occurrence resulted in getting scouted by BALCRIS Gallery and beginning a professional career as an artist.
She continuously develops artworks with the concept of “being attracted for no particular reason.” Drawn to Castellana Cave in 2016, which Ashu saw while traveling in Southern Italy. She believed that the beauty in the darkness of the cave was comparable to her art expression “drawing the darkness wonderfully,” therefore she began to produce “cave” works to demonstrate that a limestone cave is more than simply a “dark cave.”
Ashu Pine’s work was well regarded in 2019. Three of the artworks were handled by a Spanish gallery, and they all sold for roughly USD10,000 within a half-year period. Extremely delighted by the fact that her painting was loved by others without revealing her personal details, she resolved to pursue a career as a professional artist. Ashu’s “cave” sculptures have now been invited to several exhibits in Japan and abroad. Her work “Where There is More Light, the Shadow Becomes Stronger” was also awarded the Excellence Award among over 200 art pieces.
One of the artist’s major advocates says that Ashu Pine pours her heart and soul into her work, and this gives her the urge to fully breathe life into each of the works she miraculously makes. Every stroke appears to be a masterpiece.
She is recognized for creating some of the most distinctive works because she actually digs deep within herself to come up with completely fresh ideas that make a difference. So far, the artist has carved out a space for herself, and her notoriety definitely sets her apart from the crowd.
