- While a large number of Los Angelinos have ambitions for cross-industry success, building a solid reputation in just one business alone is difficult enough in the fast-paced world of Hollywood. Still, despite all of its challenges, entrepreneur Samuel Burton Jordan has begun to make a name for himself in previously untested waters — the film industry — adding to his already lengthy list of accomplishments.
Well known for his variety of business endeavors, Jordan has dipped his toes into a variety of enterprises, including EnviTours, Jordan’s luxury and eco-conscious travel service, and hospitality ventures like the buzzy Euro-inspired restaurant Issima and its Mediterranean counterpart, Olivetta. With plans to launch his wine brand, Red Bear Winery, at the end of this year, 2021 marks another major milestone for the entrepreneur as the native Californian lends his talents to the silver screen in the upcoming film Deadlock, directed by Jared Cohn.
Featuring a star studded cast including critically acclaimed actor Bruce Willis, Jordan is set to show off his acting chops for the first time in Deadlock in the role of Detective Crane. Just as involved behind the scenes as in front of the camera, Jordan likewise lends a hand in the production side of things for Deadlock in his inaugural position as an executive producer.
With Deadlock having wrapped filming in February of this year and a slated launch before 2022, the word about Jordan’s newfound foray into Hollywood is already spreading around the industry, adding yet another achievement to Jordan’s ever-expanding résumé.
