Orlando, FL – April 8, 2024 – The Norelli Family Foundation, in partnership with Rock For Children and Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers are excited to announce the release of their new single “Pleasant Dreams” on April 12, 2024. This song features the powerful vocals of heavy metal legend Rob Halford and the dynamic band Rock For Children.

“Pleasant Dreams” is a children’s rock anthem about a child overcoming their fear of monsters. At first, the child is scared of imaginary creatures hiding under the bed and in the closet. But with courage and determination, they face their fears and conquer them. This song is a celebration of empowerment and triumph over fear.

The song was written by Latin Grammy® Award-Winning Engineer, Producer, Songwriter Rubén Salas, John David Williams, and Emmanuel “Sonnemm” Andre Mendives Juarez. It was produced by the Rock For Children team, which includes Rubén Salas, Dana Kamide, and Joe Norelli. The track began its journey in Los Angeles in 2023, inspired by legendary Heavy Metal band Judas Priest, with Salas and Williams laying down the initial vocal tracks. Halford later added his iconic voice to the lead vocal track.

“Pleasant Dreams” involved kids and staff from The Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers in Mesa, AZ and debuted at Alice Cooper’s annual Coopstock fundraising Event. The song is the first single from the upcoming charity album “Solid Rock Revival,” which will be released this fall. All proceeds from the album will go to support The Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers.

 

The Rock For Children band, featuring Rob Halford on lead vocals, includes talented musicians and teen artists such as Conrad Varela and Sharon Aguilar-Kamide on guitars, Dana Kamide, John David Williams, Norma Etta, and Vedder Gabriel on backing vocals, and Recker Eans on drums.
