Some of the most powerful people were revealed to be part of an invite-only elite club, including influential art collectors.
Last week, Swedish hacker Maia Arson Crimew leaked details about “Dialog“, an elite club founded by billionaire entrepreneur Peter Theil in 2006. While the existence of the club was known for some time, the leaks – as reported by Wired and The Hollywood Reporter – revealed for the first time the members of this invite-only club.
The list included right-wing names such as Elon Musk, the first trillionaire on the planet, and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of Donald Trump. However, the list also names from the left-liberal sphere, such as Democrat senator Cory Booker, Maryland governor Wes Moore, and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. Unsurprisingly, among the 113 names there were many notable and influential names related to art world. This included Henry Kravis (notable for his donations to MoMA), former Google CEO and art collector Eric Schmidt, and Nicholas Berggruen, a major name in the world of art. The list also had art collectors like
hedge fund manager John Arnold and real estate mogul Barry Sternlicht.

The leak was also notable for revealing what happens inside Dialog by including the planner for the August meeting. Sessions were planned on topics like nuclear (weapons or energy), building a cult, navigating a possible WWIII, and surveillance in democratic nations. It was however not revealed how these sessions would be conducted, or who would be on the panel of specific sessions.
